We did a post on our site about closer situatiions a few weeks ago. Our site focuses on keeper leagues, so we discussed some young pitchers who could move into a primarily relief role in the future (albeit not necessarily this year). I didn't attempt to rank the closers, but the list is pretty solid. My only difference would be that I would rank Dotel #30 even though I'm a fan from his days in Houston. Duke on the other hand has a better RPI and did win a share of their conference title. Its not just who beat who but who performed the best over the course of the whole season. NOTE: This doesn’t not mean I would necessarily pick Duke over WVU if they matchup, but in the spirit of this debate I feel Duke will get the last number 1 seed. Hey it’s not up to me or you but who the committee feels is worthy and we will find this out later tonight.
