The Mets are one of the most profitable franchise in baseball. They have the money to purchase at least 2 of these players and they owe it to the fans to make up for the embarrassment from this year. However I think the most important thing for the Mets to do is bring in good character ball players into the clubhouse. Matt Holliday is a very good player and is known for being a good teammate, also his agent Mr Boras has good relations with the Mets and Matt wants to play in New York. This is a no brainier in my mind. SPEND THE MONEY!!! please.
