Thank God for Kate Hudson. Seriously. Not only has she been A-Rod’s good luck charm but she has given the blogosphere a lot to talk about since her relationship with the Yankee slugger went public. Well apparently the “Fool’s Gold” star’s gossip goldmine is far from empty. A story from Page Six in the NY Post today reports that there may be some animosity between Kate Hudson and Derek Jeter’s main squeeze, Minka Kelly. The report doesn’t specify or speculate whether this rift is personal, or just an extension of the A-Rod/Jeter “feud”. If it has anything to do with Alex Rodriguez, I’m sure we can expect a quote from Hudson soon that reads something like this: “I respect Minka a great deal as a person and a talented actress. I don’t know if her resentment is because I’m good looking, or rich, or dating the highest paid player, or have famous parents, or…” well you get the idea. It is reported however that Kate Hudson has the “crucial stamp of approval” from wives Michelle Damon and Laura Posada, leaving me to wonder which clutch performance cemented Kate Hudson’s place as a “true Yankee (wife)”.

SHE made it past third base with Alex Rodriguez, but Kate Hudson isn’t getting a warm reception at the plate from Minka Kelly, longtime squeeze of Yankee captain Derek Jeter.
At home games in The Bronx, things between the two photogenic actresses are frostier than the new stadium’s $9 beer, according to spies.
“There’s been visible coldness between Minka and Kate,” an insider told The Post’s Lachlan Cartwright. “I don’t know if it’s a personal thing, or just an extension of the ongoing A-Rod-Jeter rivalry.”
Our source added, “People are choosing sides.”
“Friday Night Lights” hottie Kelly has been dating Jeter since last year. Since then, she’s usually cheered him on from his private seats, kept a low profile and has rarely been photographed with him.
Then, high-profile Hudson arrived on the scene. She’s been snapped smooching A-Rod in the stands, and recently switched from sitting in a private box to hanging in the family seats, cheering on the team with Yankee wives including Amber Sabathia and Karen Burnett.
Hudson, who also enthusiastically attended the Bombers’ family picnic, seems to have gotten an early thumbs-up from veteran Yankee wives Michelle Damon and Laura Posada, whose stamp of approval is crucial, a source said.
Reps for Hudson and Kelly didn’t respond to requests for comment.
Kevin Spence, who ranks player wives and girlfriends on WAGrankings.com, noted: “It would be the best reality show ever if they would allow a camera to follow them around. I think tensions and jealousy will grow in time.”

Kate Hudson, you got minus titties and you're not even that hot, so I guess I will applaud you that you've gotten so far when you seemingly have nothing to offer aside from your mom's L.A. bump. OCD2 and I actually played hockey against Goldie's son, Kate's brother, and I squared his ass up on a hip check, then looked at Goldie and Kurt right after and gave the the V-Finger P-eating sign.
Is it just me or is that chick not quite up to Jeters normal standards? Not that I would kick her out of bed for eating crackers or anything.
