Dana White is the somewhat charismatic head man of the UFC with plans to take over the world. Sherdog reports that next step will be an event in Mexico in Spring 2010.
UFC’s goal is to “enter the Mexican market with a live event” at some point next year. Boxing is a popular spectator sport for our neighbors to the south. So Dana White will probably try to put them out of business too.
UFC may try to use heavyweight Cain Velasquez as the headliner to draw a crowd. Velasquez was reportedly “mobbed” on a recent media tour in Mexico. Sherdog also mentions Efrain Escudero and Tito Ortiz as potential participants.
