It looked like it was going to be another laugher at the Garden on Wednesday. The Knicks were down by as many as 19 points before defeating the Indiana Pacers. As a result, the Knicks won their second game in 11 tries.
The Knicks somehow managed to limit Indiana to 34 points in the second half on only eight field goals. Al Harrington came off the bench to scorch his former squad with 26 points including 13 in the fourth quarter. Larry Hughes also had a massive game with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists.
Eddy Curry made a brief but effective appearance in the game. The less large big man finished with 10 points and four boards in 12 minutes of play. The Knicks could even put together a mini winning streak with the Nets next on the schedule. Unfortunately, the Knicks begin a tough eight-game stretch after that including matchups with Boston, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Denver, Orlando (twice), Phoenix, and Atlanta. The Knicks may not win game three until they face New Jersey again on December 6th.
