There may be a huge deal about to go down in the NHL. It is believed that a three way deal between San Jose, Ottawa, and Los Angeles is in the works that would move a couple of disgruntled players. ESPN’s John Buccigross is reporting that in the deal the Kings would send Alexander Frolov and Jarret Stoll to the Senators, Patrick Marleau would go from San Jose to the Kings, while Ottawa would send Dany Heatley to San Jose. While ESPN has said the deal is done, the parties involved have denied this. Kings GM Dean Lombardi called the report “complete bull”. I’m not exactly sure if this deal will actually happen — but we may see both Heatley and Marleau moved in any case.
