I wasn’t a big fan of the Versus campaign to promote the NHL, but the Dallas Stars are on to something. They’re recruited a gaggle of beauties that they call the Ice Girls to generate interest in the team. Well, Puck Daddy reports that the Ice Girls just came out with their 2009 video. It is excellent. Below are a few of our favorite screen grabs from the action.
Some of you may be thinking, “Hey, that kind of looks like porn.” And you would be correct. It makes one wonder if a woman thought that would be fun and sexy… or if some creepy dude is producing his own semi-softcore porno. Either way, I can’t really complain. You can find out more about the Ice Girls on their website. However, the website does not clarify whether or not they actually have to be able to skate. My girlfriend is one of the ice girls and before that she was a figure skater who actively competed along with a couple of the other girls. She was also a skate coach and jr. hockey coach.
