Donald Brashear was a villain in the eyes of Rangers fan a few weeks ago. Now he’s one of the Blueshirts. I’m still not thrilled with the move, but he will provide much-needed toughness to the Rangers. Brashear was enjoying his time off in his former home of Philadelphia. The newly inked Ranger was hanging out with ex-teammate Jeff Carter. The guy managed to get up close and personal with Snoop Dogg. Does this mean that we’ll get to see Snoop’s umbrella posse at Rangers training camp?

Snoop Dogg was in town last night, keepin the plastic on it down at the Festival Pier. Apparently, the Flyers Rat Pack has some good and diverse music tastes, because a few of them were there as well, just like when My Morning Jacket came to town. Via Riley Cote’s twittering, we can see that he, Jeff Carter, and former Flyer and current Ranger Donald Brashear got to meet a hip hop legend.
