Georges Laraque apologized yesterday for an ad for Octane 7.0. The NHL tough guy said he had no idea what the ad would be like before he showed up for the shoot. Here’s what he had to say about the spot:
“People who know me know I’m not that kind of [macho] person. That’s not the kind of thing I’d agree to promote.”
Except he did. There’s no dialogue, but the ad does contain a number of scantily clad women. Laraque said that he only did it because he planned to donate his compensation to charity. You can see the ad with Georges Laraque for Octane 7.0 below.
