Does Patrick Kane like to party? We’d guess that the answer is yes. If you don’t remember, he’s the guy who (allegedly) punched a cabbie over a small dispute in his fare.
Kane continued his partying ways by hitting up a Playboy New Year’s Eve party at the Hilton in Chicago. I say “a” rather than “the” Playboy party because there was a better party going on at the Mansion. In any case, the random Chicago promoters that paid for the random Chicago version of the party got Patrick Kane to show up. Chicago Tribune writer Luis Arroyave attended the event and spotted Kane along with Adam Burish and possibly Brent Seabrook.
The event was hosted by newly minted February 2010 Playmate Heather Rae Young. Unfortunately, they had her dress up in the generic blank tank top with silver sequin rabbit head design (pictured below). I hate it when they make the girls wear generic Playboy gear as opposed to evening wear — but there’s almost no other way that regular people would realize they’re “famous.”
Tickets to the event were $165 for regular admission and $225 for VIP admission. The party promoters even “decided to ” (read: were paid to) set up a video game station in the VIP area where patrons could play with the girls. Rapper Pitbull performed after midnight before the crowd started to disperse. I’m guessing because there was no news about this event that most of the athletes on hand were well-behaved. Too bad.
