Marian Gaborik and Ales Kotalik both scored in the second period of last night’s game against New Jersey. Unfortunately, that was all the Rangers could muster in the their second home loss. Gaborik’s goal was his seventh of the season. Henrik Lundqvist was unspectacular and only had 21 saves on 24 shots.
The Rangers had pulled even in the second period until Dainius Zubrus scored. Zubrus deflected a Zach Parise shot 7:51 into the third period. The Devils later added an empty net goal for a final of 4-2.
