New York Rangers tough guy Sean Avery is a man of diverse interests. Avery’s love of fashion has been in the spotlight since he interned at Vogue. Recently, Avery appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to promote a charity called Career Gear and got the host to donate his suit to the organization. He’s even admitted that he loves women’s fashion because the “clothes tell a story.”
Turns out Avery loves music too. Over the summer, he covered the Bonnaroo festival for Fuse TV which, like the Rangers, is owned by Madison Square Garden L.P. But Mr. Avery trumped himself with randomness with his guest in the locker room after the Rangers’ 7-2 victory over Toronto. Here’s the blurb via Page Six:
SEAN Avery hosting Phish frontman Trey Anastasio in the Rangers locker room after scoring two goals leading the Blueshirts to victory.
The Rangers were off Tuesday and host the Kings today. So you can pretty much assume that Avery and Anastasio were enjoying themselves after the game.

But Trey's a life long Flyers fan?!?!?!
funny! i saw trey walking through central park on the way to the game!
