There’s a marginally popular sport that they play in Canada called hockey. Years ago, it was popular in the United States. Well, Canadians still care about their hockey and all eyes were on Olympic training camp. The team split into red and white teams for a scrimmage on Thursday. While nobody cares in the US, the Saddledome in Calgary was sold out for the game. Ryan Smyth and Corey Perry scored for White while Jeff Carter and Patrick Marleau scored for Red. The game was “decided” in a shootout that Red won 6-2. Team Canada executive director Steve Yzerman and head coach Mike Babcock will choose a final roster in December.
