Claudio Lopez managed to net a highlight reel goal against David Beckham and the Los Angeles Galaxy. Kansas City’s Lopez recovered the ball near midfield on his own half to set up the goal. He took one touch before sending a left-footed strike 60+ yards over the goalie (about :15 into the video). This is one of the prettiest strikes you’ll ever see. Plus, he made the goalie hurt himself. Nice! Unfortunately for Lopez, the game ended in a tie after Landon Donovan equalized.
