Henrik Lundqvist and Martin Brodeur combined to stop an insane 96 shots on the night. Patrik Elias, the Devil’s last shootout man, was the only person to put a puck behind a goalie on the night. Marc Staal logged the most ice time for the Rangers with 27:31. [ESPN]

ISLANDERS 6 RED WINGS 0

The Red Wings only mustered 16 shots on the night as the Isles crushed them. Rob Schrempf netted two goals in the effort. Red Wings’ defenseman Derek Meech managed to be -5 on the night. [NYDN]
