Meet the 2009 University of Texas Pom Squad

As I’ve stated in the past, a large minority of beautiful women come from Texas. The epicenter of this hotness hovers around Austin, Texas and the University of Texas campus. I was alerted by my buddy Paul that there were pictures of the 2009 Texas Pom Squad floating around. For those of you that don’t know, the Pom Squad is a beautiful concept. Here’s the definition from the University of Texas Spirit website:

Pom Squad Definition
Texas Pom members specialize in dance, chants, short pom routines and mainly utilize cheer technique at all sporting events and appearances. The squad performs at home and away football games, men’s and women’s home basketball games, basketball tournaments, women’s home soccer games, and other University functions. Texas Pom also makes numerous appearances on television and radio and at non-University functions as determined by the Head Coach and Associate Athletic Director.

Hook em, indeed.

Hook 'em, indeed.

They aren’t quite “cheerleaders” because they don’t do flips and such. Instead, they do sexy dances with… wait for it… pom poms. The outfit consists of short shorts, chaps, a vest with fringe and a v-neck spandex top. God bless Texas. They also list strong leadership qualities, charismatic presence/personality, confidence, independents, and enthusiasm as “other criteria”. I would also suggest that they add “looks nice from behind in chaps” to that list. Here are the new pictures we have from the Orange-White scrimmage this spring and some promotional pics of Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium.

Below, we introduce you to Lacey Stockbauer and the rest of the University of Texas Pom Squad. Most pictures are from the 2008 season and the Fiesta Bowl.

UPDATE: My buddy Brad brought it to my attention that Ms. Stockbauer is dating Longhorns tight end Blaine Irby.  So now there is a target for your hate.
