Bar Refaeli with Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino in an Interview magazine photoshoot

Interview magazine has brought us noteworthy photoshoots in the past. An example would be this understatedly sexy shoot with Ashley Greene. On the other side of the spectrum, we have the in-your-face juxtaposition of Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino from Jersey Shore with supermodel Bar Refaeli.

Maybe I’m jealous. But it’s probably more accurate to classify my reaction as “baffled.” The shoot featured Refaeli in a revealing bikini and a leotard. The Situation appears whitey tights and some black pants. Obviously, they don’t give the jackass a shirt.

I really can’t even conceive a scenario where this photoshoot makes sense. I wonder how Bar felt about lowering herself to this level.  Apparently abusing steroids and spray tan really pays off.  Just ask The Situation… or Jose Canseco.

LeBron James & Jay-Z hosted their annual 2 Kings party this weekend

LeBron hosted his annual “2 Kings” dinner and afterparty in Dallas. The two hung out with celebs including Diddy, Russell Simmons, and Drake. [TheYBF]

Bar Refaeli is supposedly pissed that Brooklyn Decker got the 2010 SI Swimsuit cover. [CocoPerez]

Kallas says it was a mistake not to re-sign Matsui and Damon. He called Matsui’s $6.5 million signing with Anaheim a “piddling sum” then says he should play 90 games at DH and pinch hit in 40 games. 300-ish at bats for $6.5 million is not exactly a lot of bang for the Yankees’ buck. Troy Smith, who played at Ohio State, was gung ho about potentially playing for the Browns. Word is that Smith could get traded to the Raiders to play for his former coach Hue Jackson. Still pumped up about getting moved, Troy? [ESPN]

The first black ice skating duo will compete at the 2010 Winter Olympics. The team is composed of Canadian-born Vanessa James and France’s Yannick Bonheur. I’m not exactly sure why James, born in Canada and raised in England, is allowed to compete for France. But it’s still historic! [Bossip]

GALLERY: CLUB SI SWIMSUIT PARTY AT VANITY IN VEGAS

Cintia Dicker at the Club SI Swimsuit Party at Vanity in Las Vegas

Do anything cool this weekend? Chances are that it didn’t really compare to the Club SI Swimsuit Party at Vanity on Friday. The party was attended by the lovely women in the issue along with celebrities and sponsors.

Somehow, Mark McGrath was involved and also speaking on behalf of Sports Illustrated. He suggested that the event would be in Vegas for the next three years. Other than the models, celebrities in attendance included:

Members of the USA Sevens Rugby team competing here this week; Chris Phillips of Zowie Bowie with new date Felice Garcia, who impersonates Carrie Underwood in American Superstars at the Stratosphere; Adam; Dancing With the Stars’ Cheryl Burke and Chelsie Hightower, who are featured in the body-painted models section; Brooklyn with the 2010 edition seemingly glued to her hands; 2010 Miss Nevada USA Julianna Erdesz, who has just moved into her new Las Vegas home; and 2008 Miss Indiana Brittany Mason

BAR REFAELI FOR THE 2010 SI SWIMSUIT EDITION

Bar Refaeli has been featured a handful of times on BLS. This time, she’s working on the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. The Swimsuit Edition essentially anchor’s SI’s sales effort these days. They even branded a Southwest jet to show off Refaeli’s bikini body. Clearly, the model-formerly-known-as-Leo’s-girlfriend was a hit as last year’s cover girl. After the jump, you’ll find the leaked sneak preview images we came across from this year’s shoot.

POLO PRO SCORES BAR REFAELI

I’d opine that Bar Refaeli is a better prize than any sports trophy. Polo pro Ricardo Mansur feels the same way. The two beautiful people were recently spotted drinking beer together and laughing. Apparently, Mansur is a bit of a playboy and has dated models including Isabeli Fontana and Gisele Bundchen. Picking up Gisele’s sloppy seconds doesn’t seem to bother the Israeli model. Bar is set to appear in the Fall campaign for Rampage lingerie, replacing Gisele. You can see another picture from the campaign along with a video of the photoshoot after the jump.
