It’s no secret that we love a good headline at BigLeagueScrew. In fact, we try our best to come up with the most outrageous titles possible. Still, the funniest headlines are the ones that are unintentionally humorous. Two of the best unintentionally hilarious headlines both appeared this morning. It’s not quite clear if either author was trying to be cheeky with the wordplay. Frankly, it doesn’t matter. Both of the headlines below are among the most ridiculous I have ever read.
The first headline seems like something out of a Vegas newspaper. It turns out it’s actually about pole vaulting. That is much, much less hilarious than drug-addicted prostitutes making wagers. The second reads like the title of a bullsh*t Tucker Max story, but it really describes the result of a horse race. The details of the horse race even match the accidentally dirty title. The winner of the Pearl Necklace was the daughter of horse called Not For Love. When asked about Blind Date’s performance, her rider said, “when I asked for her explosive finish she gave it to me.” The gods smiled upon us today with these two gems.
