TOM BRADY IS BUILDING A MANSION IN BRENTWOOD

Tom Brady is moving soon but that doesn’t mean he’s leaving the Patriots. At least not yet. Brady is in the process of building a mansion in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles. Brady paid $11 million for the land that he plans to build on back in late 2008.

The new home will allow Brady to live closer to his 2-year-old son, Jack. He lives nearby with his mother and former Brady girlfriend Bridget Moynahan. Apparently, Arnold Schwarzenegger will also be one of their neighbors. You know, when he’s not at the Governor’s mansion in Sacramento.  Here’s a shot of the lot where the home will be built:

Brady isn’t exactly trading down. But he is trying to sell his home in the Back Bay section of Boston. The $10 million penthouse was just put on the market a few months ago. Hmm… maybe Brady really is planning to get out of Boston.

LIVE INACTION: ESPN LOS ANGELES LIVE VIDEO FAIL

Yesterday, Pete Carroll held a press conference to talk about his resignation from USC. ESPN Los Angeles had a live video feed up — presumably to cover the event. However, that’s not exactly what they were streaming to viewers.

ESPN’s Shelley Smith was paired with the crew that had the live feed from Los Angeles. But apparently the crew and Smith had no idea that they were broadcasting live on the internet. Smith could be heard talking to producers while she unwittingly stood in front of thousands of internet viewers. She must’ve been waiting for ESPN to cut her into SportsCenter for a segment saying:

“We’re gonna hear Pete and then Golic’s gonna tee me up? Ok.”
“10 seconds!”

Shortly after that, the video feed went blank and displayed a test pattern. I’m not sure what ESPN intended to broadcast since I found the link on twitter. Below are a couple more awkward shots of Shelley Smith and the test pattern.

We were out of town for a lot of the past week and apologize for the lack of posting. But even if we’re delinquent, we’ll make sure you get your Ashley Greene fix. The Twilight star was recently out and about in LA when she was snapped by the paparazzi.

I guess she was doing chores because Greene doesn’t seem to be doing anything exciting. We give her thumbs up for the form-fitting wifebeater but thumbs down to the “boyfriend jeans.” I still can’t comprehend why girls would want to wear unflattering clothes. We liked Nastia Liukin because she had a wholesome quality about her. Well, it appears as if Nasty Nastia has gone totally L.A. on us. The gymnastics star was spotted in LA over the weekend sporting an extreme West Coast look.

The paps caught Nastia leaving the Kitson store in Los Angeles last week. Nastia clutched two Kitson bags while wearing extremely ripped jeans and a semi-see through white v-neck. It’s just not quite as appealing a leotard and a tight ponytail.

The first time I ever saw Meagan Good was when she was dressed up as a Hooter’s girl for Halloween a few years ago. Clearly, I liked what I saw. Fast forward to today, I didn’t even realize she was Thomas Jones’ girlfriend until I saw pictures of the two at his birthday bash.

I guess Meagan decided to hit up the left coast this weekend. She was spotted leaving the club Wonderland in Los Angeles. I’m not sure who Good’s friends are, but apparently they all like to wear cardigans. I guess TJ doesn’t have much to worry about.

Twilight beauty and BLS favorite Ashley Greene was spotted in Los Angeles this weekend supporting artists Todd DiCiurcio.  Greene came directly from filming in Vancouver to see DiCiurcio’s exhibit called “Heartstrings.”

Ashley was joined by Gossip Girl stars Ed Westwick and Jessic Szohr.  Unfortunately, Greene was dressed conservatively and fashionably rather than exposed and whorish.  There’s always next time.

Brittny Gastineau has never appeared on BLS before. But we thought we’d give some love to the daughter of former New York Jet Mark Gastineau. On October 19th, Brittny was walking the red carpet at the launch party for Laura Day’s book “How to Rule the World from your Couch” in Los Angeles.

Her reality show in which she co-stars with her mother, Gastineau Girls, is set to air season three in early 2010 on MTV. I wonder if anybody has ever spelled her name correctly on the first try.

Kate Hudson popped up in yet another set of paparazzi photos. Again, she was “returning from a workout session.” It’s unclear whether these shots are from — but they may be from a couple of years ago.

She wore a pink top this time around when she hammed it up for the photographers. Her belly chain that was around her waist last time around was nowhere to be seen. Why does it always seem like she’s taking really long walks to her car in workout gear when paparazzi photograph her?

As long as Alex Rodriguez keeps hitting, I’m fine with Kate Hudson’s incessant fame-whoring. Though, it is pretty annoying that she’s more famous for being A-Rod’s girlfriend than her “career” and is constantly photographed by paparazzi. The last five movies she’s appeared in are The Skeleton Key, You, Me and Dupree, Fool’s Gold, My Best Friend’s Girl, and Bride Wars. Yeah. That’s a Shannon Elizabeth-like career trajectory.

The actress was spotted on Sunday morning coming back from a workout session at YAS Fitness Center. She did look quite fit. But why the hell is she wearing a belly chain (which hilariously has a cross on it) to work out?

How much do you want to bet that we’ll see pictures of her and Alex hitting L.A. later this week? If Alex Rodriguez is wearing his cool guy bomber jacket, somebody owes me a Coke.

Lamar Odom was out on the town on Monday with his new wife. The Lakers forward attended the opening of a new restaurant in West Hollywood.

Self-proclaimed handsome guy Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian posed on the red carpet for the grand opening of Philippe Restaurant.

Khloe didn’t look as much like Shrek as she usually does. But I still wouldn’t want that beast on my arm. It’s going to be close whether or not this sham marriage can hold water until their nuptials air on Kardashian’s E! reality show in November.

Mrs. Tony Parker attended the 13th Annual Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival on Sunday. Longoria arrived without her NBA player husband and walked the red carpet in a black dress with a metallic top. There’s no doubt that Eva is an attractive woman — but I’m not a fan of the skin-toned lipstick. That just looks weird. WHO WANTS TO BUY AN NFL FRANCHISE: RAMS EDITION

You may have heard this week that a group of investors including Dave Checketts and Rush Limbaugh is looking to buy the Rams. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports there are actually as many as six bidders for the struggling franchise.

The Post-Dispatch says that Rams owner Chip Rosenbloom isn’t in any hurry to sell the team. But there’s another group in St. Louis that is looking into buying the team. There aren’t any details on those investors at the moment.

The report also says that Stan Kroenke isn’t willing to sell his 40% of the team. I’m not sure that really matters unless somebody wants to move the team.  In California, developers are seeking approval for an $800 million stadium project. They hope to lure an NFL team there — starting with the Chargers. The Rams are reportedly worth $800 million. In other words, $400 million for every game they win this season.
