Maria Sharapova is staging a comeback at the Bank of the West Classic. The 22 year-old Russian destroyed Nadia Petrova to advance to the quarterfinals of the tournament. Sharapova is currently ranked 62nd in the world since returning from injury. The comeback bid was short-lived, however, as Sharapova was bounced in the semis. On Saturday, Sharapova was quickly dispatched by Venus Williams in straight sets. Sharapova may have lost, but at least she looks good doing it.
