YELENA ISINBAYEVA BETRAYED BY HER POLE

Yelena Isinbayeva is a Russian pole vaulter and one of the best in the world. She was the first woman to clear the five meter barrier in 2005. She’s been named Female Athlete of the Year by the IAAF in 2004, 2005, and 2008. She also won gold medals in 2004 and 2008 and has a whopping 26 world records. No big deal.

Yelena was at the World Championships in Berlin this week at the 2009 World Championships. She was unable to complete a successful vault and lost to Anna Rogowska.
